2025 Honorees
Anna Sartes
Management

Anna Sartes is the one community and church leaders call when they need a dependable helping hand.
She’s the familiar face you see when you head to the gyro booth at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Greek Festival on the last weekend of October.
She leads arts and crafts stations at church Christmas events. She performs and competes in the Greek folk dance group. She lends her creativity and passion to community bake sales.
She packs 20 cases of fortified rice bags — in two hours — for children in need.
She is also the unassuming young lady who will turn to strangers in a church pew during Easter services and compliment their shoes.
This is the magic of her essence.
²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and community service have always been two solid pillars of her Greek upbringing. Her grandparents immigrated to America in the 1970s. They worked tirelessly to create opportunities for their family. Though they lacked formal education, their sacrifices instilled in her a deep appreciation for learning and perseverance.
She continued this drive at the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, joining the Bulls Business Community. She also became vice president of The Hellenic Society and a member of the USF Tennis Club.
With a 3.88 GPA, she is on track to graduate with a degree in management at age 20 and plans to pursue law school.
With a strong foundation in perseverance, leadership, and community engagement, Sartes wants to be a lawyer. She wants to advocate for others, just like her grandparents who worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for her.
