2025 Honorees
Lucy Foust
Marketing, Integrated Public Relations and Advertising

Lucy Foust was finishing her sophomore year when she decided it was time to get out
of her comfort zone.
&Բ;
She made a conscious decision to challenge herself, to seek out opportunities, and
fully embrace all the USF had to offer. That decision changed her trajectory and opened
doors she didn’t know existed.
&Բ;
She took a leap of faith and went from taking group cycling classes to teaching them.
&Բ;
She interned at Bluewater Media and saw herself in a career in client relations at
an advertising agency. She spent the following summer in Barcelona, Spain as a social
media intern. Her work at WE Woman Excellence deepened her understanding of cross-cultural
branding.
&Բ;
But Foust wasn’t done pushing her limits. She returned to USF ready to take on bigger
leadership roles her senior year.
&Բ;
She joined the American Marketing Association at USF. She served as the director of
its Consult-A-Bull program, a student-run marketing agency. She is also co-president
of AMA and calls it “one of the most rewarding experiences” of her college career.
She not only oversees committee meetings, but guides members in their professional
growth.
&Բ;
Faculty advisors say her warm, approachable nature makes her a natural leader.
&Բ;
She is set to graduate in May with two bachelor’s degrees. One in marketing and the
other in integrated public relations and advertising. She’s grateful she decided burst
out of her comfort zone.
&Բ;
As she prepares for a career in advertising, she credits USF for helping her find
her voice.
