Jazlynn Hirschhorn

Master of Business Administration

Jazlynn Hirschhorn

Most are enjoying their second year of college at age 19. Not Jazlynn Hirschhorn. She was submitting her MBA application. By age 20, she was in graduate school, on a fast-track to impacting the industries she cared about.

Hirschhorn blends her expertise in graduate research, business strategy and healthcare innovation.

She is one of the youngest students in her MBA cohort. Despite that, she is excelling. Faculty members praise her ability to work among more experienced peers. They also note her resilience and adaptability.

Hirschhorn is pursuing an MBA with a healthcare specialization. She also serves as a USF Ambassador for the Alumni Association. In research, she is investigating the intersection of AI and mental health.

“By investigating how AI can elevate mental health treatment, I am gaining crucial insights into ways innovations will shape the future of patient care,” she said.

Outside of the classroom, she runs an e-commerce shop that has generated $40,000 in revenue in its first year.

She gained experience scaling operations, analyzing market trends, and adapting to consumer behavior. It also allowed her to support her family and community in Venezuela. She was able to provide essential supplies and resources to those affected by the country’s humanitarian crisis.

She wants to combine her expertise in business, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. Above all, she wants to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world solutions. And to leave a lasting imprint on both the university and the broader business community.
