Business Analytics and Information Systems, Quantitative Economics and Econometrics

Minh Ha Pham

Minh Ha Pham has never been one to sit back and watch things happen. She is in the thick of it, often taking the lead.

She secures funds for student initiatives. She's building a career in data and robots. Above all, she takes pride in pushing boundaries and creating real impact.

She serves as president of the Google Developer Student Club, one of the largest tech clubs at USF. She secured $5,000 in sponsorships to expand the tech club and extended its reach to include business students. She wanted anyone — regardless of background — to learn, grow, and explore technology.

Pham is pursuing dual degrees in business analytics and information systems and in quantitative economics and econometrics. She’s also a first-generation college student in the Corporate Mentor Program and a student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College.

Pham found a unique opportunity to combine her love of robotics, AI and innovation. She is a student researcher assistant in USF’s Reality, Autonomy, and Robot Experience (RARE) Lab. She helps design and lead experiments on human-robot interactions.

As a lead business analyst at a robotic startup, she helped raise $12,000 in a Kickstarter campaign by combining her experience in marketing and data.

This summer she will work as a data analyst associate at the Navy Federal Credit Union.

With all these accomplishments, Pham knows success isn’t measured by titles or awards. She cares more about the impact she creates.
